EPW - Droz Jeannot Fils, Brenets, minute repeater perpetual calendar and moonphase, 57mm, 18K gold original case with initialed shield to front, signed gold cuvette, white enamel quintuple-sunk dial with registers for day (abbreviations in French), date and month, aperture for moonphase at 6, SW-shift-locking-LS, lever escapement with capped escape wheel, likely 24-30J despite "18 Rubis" case marking, fausses-cĂ´tes pattern nickel damascene, s#26585 within case. Gross weight of assembled watch 92.7 dwt (144.2 g). Comes with a fitted wooden box with mother-of-pearl shield in center and with "Repeticion a Minutos Calendario Perpetuo" signed lid liner.
CONDITION:
Mvt: Running, good repeat function and tone apart from minute hand currently being set about 2 minutes out of index, good calendar function, excellent-plus cosmetic mvt condition overall, scattered fine scratches to plates; dial with hls within month and date registers, hl at 11:30, flakes or mild small chipping to center holes of day and date registers, very small surface nicks near 4; excellent hands; case shows light wear, small dent to band at 8, shallow ding to rear shoulder at lower left, loss to engine turning detail at shoulders, bezel with tendency to lift off unexpectedly while handling; tight bow, crown shows little wear; good glass crystal with a bit of glue excess at its seat; box in fine overall cosmetic condition, small crack adjacent latch button, some separation of upper lid joint at rear, upper and lower sections leaving some separation when closed, scattered scratches.
